I spent seven years in the classroom loving the kids and fighting the system in equal measure. When that chapter closed, I took a breath — and eventually started making things again, the way I always had.

Blart Boogerswatch vs. His Wallet started as a story. A goofy, relatable monster who learns the hard way that spending without thinking has real consequences. I wrote it, illustrated it, and built the Monsterbucks system around it because that's how I've always taught — through experience, not lectures.

This year something clicked. I watched kids laugh at Blart and then ask their parents for a wallet. This little monster had something real to offer. Kids learn from laughing, doing, and experiencing consequences in a safe way. That's what Blart gives them.

My goal isn't to raise millionaires. It's to raise kids who aren't afraid of money — kids who grow up confident, capable, and in control of their own choices. That felt worth building.
